Everything has been growing VERY well since I started using the Miracle-Gro plant food a couple weeks ago. In my main beds, I'm seeing a lot of new growth, and everything is just looking much healthier. In retrospect, I should have been giving the plants extra food since day one. I didn't start feeding them until nearly a month and a half later, so they probably suffered for that.
Two plants that have continued to do well in spite of my shortcomings are the strawberries and potatoes. The strawberry plants have all really leafed out, and their leaves are getting nice and big. The blossoms are all moving from the flower stage to the fruit stage rather quickly. The berries themselves aren't very large (about the size of your thumb-tip), but I'm sure they'll continue to grow. I can count over a dozen berries already.

While I have no way to check the progress of the potatoes themselves short of digging them up, the plant tops are growing quit nicely. They're all about 4-5" tall, and getting leafy. The leaves still retain that thick, waxy characteristic, and the stalks are still very stiff. Having grown up experiencing potatoes only from a counter in the produce section of a grocery store, this is all very new and cool to me.
