The garden is really doing well. Nothing is yellow at all, and the leafy greens are just exploding. The carrots are all developing nice large tops, the kale is getting 12" long leaves, and the basil and chives are filling out nicely.
In specific news, the first strawberry ripened. It was very sweet with a bit of tart. It's more sour than the large strawberries you'd get at the store, but these would make a perfect strawberry jam.

The Amish Snap Peas are doing a million times better. I have a few vines that are over two feet tall, and they are even beginning to produce pea pods. I ate the one pictured, and it was delicious! You can tell from the color and size of the leaves that these plants are very healthy. I hope the summer heat doesn't rob me of the crop.
The Roma tomato plans haven't gotten very tall. I'm not sure if that's how they usually are, or it I stunted them in the beginning. At any rate, they are beginning to produce some nice-sized fruit. The tomato in the front there is a nice 3" long. Not sure how long it takes them to turn red, but I'll be watching them carefully now.
The Brandywine tomato plant has grown much taller than the Romas. It's not as bushy as the smaller plants, but it stands about 30" tall. They're all supported by a trellis, and today I noticed that one of the Brandywine blossoms has formed the beginnings of a tomato. This was not there two days ago. The speed with which plants grow amazes me.
